Project test-run, container testrun. Five RTX 3090 machines, one grid each. They stay on the test range and do not take puzzle chunks. The machine already scanning is left on its current chunk.

Each new claim uses the grid for that card. A scan already running keeps the grid it started with. The chunk map stays 32768×128. Min G/s is the rate that card must report. The admission test rejects a finish below it. A real chunk rejects the machine after two reports below it. Bench machines are left alone. 0 turns that card’s floor off.
New claims take this list first, in the order added. An empty list goes back to random. Already-done indexes are skipped. An index that is already out with a pod is handed out when that pod finishes or gives it back. Write a range as 100-140 with no spaces.
A pod that stops heartbeating keeps its chunk until the claim window ends. Heartbeats should be several times shorter than that window.
Every Salad pod sends this. Apache often drops Authorization, so prefer the X-Worker-Token header.

Pause claims, wait until nothing is in flight, then on the server:
php tools/import.php /path/to/puzzle.khchunk
Accepts the desktop KHCHUNK1 file, or a raw completion bitset of the same length. Import replaces done bits and leaves the desk paused.
This throws away done bits, claims, and the recycle queue, then pauses the desk. Type WIPE to confirm.

A new process first scans the first half of puzzle 69 chunk 1222177, 101d8326f920000000:101d8327c3afffffff, for 19vkiEajfhuZ8bs8Zu2jgmC6oqZbWqhxhG. It has 8 minutes. A miss, a timeout, or two slow reports rejects it and Salad replaces the machine. Finishing the test below that card’s minimum on the Grids page rejects it the same way. Test mode issues only that range. One real chunk per process after that. Calling claim again returns the same chunk and refreshes the window. On finish, complete. On shutdown, release. If a heartbeat returns claim_lost, the chunk was reclaimed — ask for another. Send mark with the chunk index only. The desk stores no key material. A passed test does not pause. A real mark closes that chunk, pauses claims, disables every node, and stops every saved Salad container group. On a real chunk, two reports under that same minimum reject the machine and Salad replaces it. Bench machines are not held to the floor. Speed on each heartbeat is the scanner's own GPU rate. Measured is the chunk size divided by the time from the claim to the answer.
